The Brady IP™ Series of Thermal printers features Brady’s revolutionary smart cell technology which enables all elements of the printing process – printer, ribbons and materials – to communicate. This creates a fully integrated system which delivers high-performance, yet user-friendly, thermal printing for labels, sleeves and tags in a wide range of applications.
Available in both a 300 dpi and 600 dpi models, the IP™ saves both time and wastage. The simple ‘load, click, print’ process reduces set-up and change-out time while eliminating the need for calibration and reducing material waste.

Smart Cell Technology – Saves Set-Up and Change-Out Time
- Enables communication between ribbon, printer and materials including material recognition and automatic formatting by detecting the loaded materials and making the necessary calibrations.
- The printer automatically identifies what you have loaded and the most appropriate material-ribbon match to deliver increased productivity and high-performance printing
- The information is sent to the integrated software, which automatically populates the template and settings
- Material and ribbon levels are displayed on the LCD for ease of tracking
- Print up to 5,000 labels per day
User-Friendly Operation – Load, Click, Print
- The user information is clearly displayed on the LCD screen
- Data is easily created on the template, then simply ‘click and print’
- No need for manual adjustments, ie speed, layout, material, temperature. The system sets the printer settings automatically
- Troubleshooting and intelligent error messages are shown on the LCD in graphic and alphanumeric display for easy understanding and handling of any issues
- Easy access to the materials via the top loading function design
- User simply clicks open the supply file which is shown on the screen. The system automatically recognises both the material and the information and updates the settings.
- The user then enters the data onto the template and presses ‘print’ – simple, user-friendly and smart
